YELLOW LIVE THE PROMOTER OF DRIP WORLD IS PICKING UP THE FESTIVAL AND MOVING IT FROM WINTER TO SUMMER … January 2020 to be precise!
Wait.. what, why? For reasons beyond ours and the artist’s control.
What does that mean? It means that we have waited until the 11th hour, in hopes that we would receive visas for some of the key artists performing on our incredible Drip World line-up and until this morning we have not received those visas. It has to be noted that we have no doubts that everyone on our line-up will be granted a visa into Australia. However, with delays in getting the submissions through for approval, there is no guarantee that they will all be granted in time for the festival tour starting this weekend.
We couldn’t risk not to deliver the artists we promised so a decision has been made by the Drip Team with everyone’s support to move the festival from Winter to Summer.
So, what happens now? Our team locally and internationally are working very closely with the amazing agents, artists and managers to reschedule everyone on the line-up. You may think rescheduling is an easy task. Our line-up of eight (8) massive international artists comes with a complete entourage of ninety-seven (97) people, namely crew, dancers, DJ’s, security, and personnel that all need to be rescheduled.
So, when will I know? Monday 2nd September 2019: We need a week for our team, the agents and the managers to move and reschedule itineraries to make the magic happen.

- Artist visas? The visas will be issued in time for Drip Summer. We will commit to publicly announce each one starting with the ones we already have starting next week. Because we believe you deserve to know!

To the Ticket Holders: Your ticket(s) will be valid for the rescheduled dates and do not need to be exchanged. Present your existing ticket(s) at the venue on the new date. If you are unable to attend on the rescheduled date, you may secure a refund from Monday the 2nd September. On Monday the 2nd of September, you will receive an email to the email address you used to purchase your ticket with information on how to get a refund.

To the A-Team: A massive shout out to all the venues who have been supportive and are furiously trying to move things around to accommodate the new dates. A shout out to our events team and third party contractors, emergency teams, ticketing teams, PR teams, digital marketing teams, sponsors, ticket promoters, club promoters, lawyers and police who have held it down for us and not waivered their loyalty and continue their commitment to bring you a safe, amazing Drip World festival this summer.
